While the restaurants are closed, we thought we'd share some recipes from GRA Members so that you can look forward to dining there once they re-open. First up, it's Seumas from Cafe Gandolfi's recipe for Chocolate Fondant Cake
200g dark chocolate 70% cocoa 200g butter 250g caster sugar 5 eggs 40g ground almonds
Grease and line a deep 23 cm spring form tin with grease proof paper pre-heat oven to 175 c Put the first 3 ingredients into a bowl and microwave for 2- 3 minutes, stir until well mixed Beat in the eggs one at a time, fold in the almonds Now pour mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 25 mins the centre will be wobbly - as it firms up as it cools Leave to cool and turn out placing the side with the grease proof paper at the top.
